🌿 What Does It Mean to Be an ECO-Life Parks Advisor?

We've talked about why we're creating an Advisory Group.

We've talked about the importance of different perspectives.

We've talked about online participation.

And we've talked about how simply saying “I'm interested” can begin the conversation.

But what does being an advisor actually mean?

🀝 It Means Being Willing to Listen

An advisor isn't someone who has to know everything.

It's someone willing to listen to different ideas and perspectives.

Sometimes you'll agree.

Sometimes you won't.

That's okay.

The goal isn't for everyone to think alike.

The goal is to think better together.

πŸ’‘ It Means Sharing What You Know

Maybe you've learned something through your work.

Maybe through travel.

Maybe through raising a family.

Maybe through volunteering.

Maybe through managing land.

Maybe through building something.

Maybe through making mistakes.

Maybe through simply living.

If your experience can help us see something more clearly, we want to hear it.

❓ It Means Asking Good Questions

Advisors can help us identify questions we might not have considered.

How will this affect the surrounding community?

Is this practical?

Can this be maintained?

What happens during bad weather?

What about accessibility?

How can we protect the land?

What will visitors actually need?

What could we be overlooking?

Good questions can be just as valuable as good answers.

🌱 It Means Helping Shape the Vision

The Advisory Group won't simply be talking about the finished park.

The first park hasn't even been created yet.

That means advisors may have an opportunity to influence ideas while they're still being developed.

Land.

Restoration.

Food forests.

Camping.

Trails.

Education.

Community partnerships.

Volunteer opportunities.

Online participation.

And the overall visitor experience.

πŸ’» It Can Mean Participating Online

We know people are busy.

And we know potential advisors may live far away.

That's why online participation is important.

Depending on what we're working on, advisors may participate through:

πŸ’¬ Online discussions

πŸ“§ Email

πŸ“ Surveys

πŸ’» Virtual meetings

πŸ“‹ Reviewing ideas

πŸ’‘ Sharing suggestions

πŸ“š Sharing resources

You don't necessarily have to be physically present to make a meaningful contribution.

🌎 It Means Thinking Beyond One Property

Human ECO-Life Parks isn't only about creating one beautiful place.

The long-term vision is to develop a model that can potentially be repeated.

If something works on one property, could it work somewhere else?

If it doesn't work, what can we learn?

How can we make the next park better?

That's where thoughtful advice becomes especially valuable.

πŸ’š It Doesn't Mean You Have to Do Everything

Being an advisor doesn't mean becoming a full-time volunteer.

It doesn't mean you're responsible for running the park.

It doesn't mean you'll have to solve every problem.

It means being part of a group of people who are willing to contribute their perspective as the vision develops.

Your role is to help us think.

🌿 What We Hope to Build

We want an Advisory Group that is:

Thoughtful.

Honest.

Practical.

Curious.

Encouraging.

And willing to say:

“Let's think about that.”

That's the kind of group that can help turn a good idea into something stronger.

πŸ’¬ Could You Be Part of It?

If you have experience, ideas, questions, or simply a genuine interest in helping shape the future of Human ECO-Life Parks, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need a perfect rΓ©sumΓ©.

You don't need all the answers.

You don't need to know exactly where you fit.

You can start with:

“I'm interested.”

We'll start the conversation from there.

Because the future of Human ECO-Life Parks shouldn't be shaped by one person sitting alone with a plan.

It should be shaped by people willing to think, listen, question, and build together.

Human ECO-Life Parks

Planting Hope. Growing Love.
